Lake Tulloch is full all summer long every year, no drought here.

This READY TO BUILD parcel features the following:

History of Lake Tulloch

Lake Tulloch is a reservoir that was created by damming the Stanislaus River in the mid '50s as part of the New Melones Lake power project. The flow and level of water is regulated by the New Melones dam, so it is not affected by drought - it is kept full (about 500'-510' elevation) during the warm months, and lowered during the winter months.

* When the reservoir was created, the agencies involved obtained easements from landowners to allow flooding of portions of their land to create the lake. This parcel is one of those original parcels; about half is underwater. Many large lake parcels are partly or mostly underwater - the neighboring Green Springs Estates' lots are examples.
